Business Casual | Week Two

Week two, done! The weather this week was extremely bipolar. It rained on Monday and by Friday it was almost 90 degrees. That’s northern California for you.

It’s interesting going from being a student to working a 9 to 5 job. As a student, you’re used to your teacher telling you when to do something, you’re given instructions that will help guide you to do that assignment, and a schedule is set up for you to follow throughout the semester. At work, your manager doesn’t always tell you what to do on a daily basis, most times there are no instructions unless you don’t know how to do that task, and there is definitely no set daily schedule. I’ve found it to be very liberating and confusing at the same time.

I also already asked a stupid question and was so embarrassed that I hid at my desk for the next hour trying to forget what just happened. Sooo there’s that…
